The Polar Series U Premium rapid chiller and blast chiller is designed for processing large quantities of food in professional kitchens. With capacity for 10 × GN 1/1, it supports pre-service preparation and enables controlled chilling and freezing processes.

The unit chills 40 kg of food from +70 to +3 °C in 90 minutes or freezes 28 kg from +70 to −18 °C in 240 minutes. The integrated core temperature probe allows monitoring of internal food temperature. Rapid chilling helps preserve flavour and texture.

An LCD touchscreen allows selection of preset cycles and saving of custom programmes. Stainless steel surfaces inside and out facilitate cleaning. Lockable castors enable flexible positioning, while the reversible door hinge simplifies adaptation to kitchen layout.
