Piggyback cooling unit for cold rooms up to 19.6 m³ – 230 V, 460 × 928 × 775 mm

The piggyback cooling unit is a compact cooling solution for wall mounting on commercial cold rooms. The air circulation cooling supports uniform air distribution throughout the cold room. Using the digital Dixell controller, temperature can be easily adjusted and monitored on the digital display.

The unit is suitable for cold rooms with wall thicknesses of 80 to 150 mm. Equipment includes LED interior lighting and automatic defrosting. Condensation water is discharged via a drain; no evaporative condensation disposal is used.

Up to 19.6 m³ cold room volume is possible according to the performance table at +5 to +10 °C interior temperature and maximum +32 °C ambient temperature. At lower interior temperatures or higher ambient temperatures, the suitable cold room volume is reduced. The volume specifications are based on 80 mm cold room insulation.

Suitable only for use in frost-free and rain-protected environments. For selecting the unit size, the desired cold room temperature, ambient temperature, and cold room insulation must be considered.

Data note prior to publication: The specified temperature range ends at +5 °C, however the maximum capacity of 19.6 m³ applies to +5 to +10 °C. The compressor powers of 720–950 W additionally do not match the specified connection power of 640 W. At +43 °C the cold room volume for −5 to 0 °C is missing.
